Emergency Room / ExpressCare

The Labette Health Emergency Room and ExpressCare provide ten beds of state of the art care for emergent and urgent conditions. 

The Emergency Room always has a physician on duty.  The full time physicians include:

• Sonya Culver, DO
• Michael Farris, MD
• Rahul Singh, MD
• Shawn Southwick, DO

The ExpressCare providers are either nurse practitioners or physician assistants.  The full time ExpressCare providers include:

• Meri Bolton, PA-C
• Mary Beth Hartley, ARNP

ExpressCare is open every day (including holidays) from 8am until 8pm to see patients with minor illnesses and injuries.  Upon arrival, patients undergo a triage, or sorting, process where a nurse will evaluate them to determine whether they should be treated in the Emergency Room or ExpressCare.
